With the summer festival season on the horizon, the team here at Liz Earle have put together the perfectly proportioned Festival Kit. Tailored to the rigours of festival life, it’s full of easy-to-use essentials like Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser, Orange Flower Hand Wash, Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion, Superbalm, Mineral Sunscreen SPF20 and Sun Shade Botanical Aftersun Gel. So when my daughter announced she’d be spending five days living in a tent in a field at her first festival (Charlotte will be boogieing to the sounds of the Isle of Wight Festival), I knew just what to send her along with to keep her skin protected, hydrated and clean…ish.
I know my kid. I’d send her to school with a healthy lunch including carrot sticks and sugarsnap peas… which were promptly emptied into the bin or traded with someone else for biscuits or a packet of crisps. There is no getting her to do something she doesn’t want to. Charlotte’s eczema-prone skin is sensitive, so what better way to encourage her to look after it while she’s having fun than to use simple, effective products she’s confident with?
Most importantly, I am doing my part to ensure that Charlotte is as gorgeous when she reaches my age as she is now by protecting her skin from the sun with our Mineral Suncream SPF20. It’s the sun damage we do to our skin in our teens and twenties that can catch up with us in our forties and beyond. I won’t be there to remind her to apply sun protection regularly, but at least I can ensure that if she does catch a little too much, there’s the soothing comfort of Sun Shade Botanical Aftersun Gel. I’ve seen the number of shoes Charlotte’s packing, so it’s a good thing all of these festival necessities fit into a small bag just the right size for the pocket of her rucksack. And judging by the Foot Spritzer and treat size Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser that have gone missing from my bathroom shelf, Charlotte’s got her own ideas about just what she needs!
Now that I’ve stuck the Festival Kit into my handbag to bring it home, I may just have to get myself another for all those garden opens and country shows, or the harvest trips I have planned that will see me examining crops in fields across the country as our farmers bring in beautiful botanical ingredients.

Hi,
I am a Liz Earle customer and love the body and skincare range which I use daiy.
i have recently have returned from holiday having used the LE suncare range. I was unfortunately dissappointed with the suntan cream as I found this very thick in texture and found it hard to soak in to my skin. The aftersun gel was cooling but not moisturising to my skin.
I just wanted to feed back this. I will of course still be a loyal customer of the skin care.

This would be an amazing prize and not only for festivals it would be used for whenever my family and I go out. Because as everyone knows as soon as you get away from your house the children find and attract every bit of dirt they possibly can

That is such a good idea. I have three daughters who are always off to various festivals throughout the summer, this kit would be perfect for them. The handy little bag means that everything will be in one place when they need them. With this kit in their rucksacks they should return looking refreshed and radiant for a change!
Another must have from Liz Earle.
